2022 Beijing University of Chemical Technology Beijing Government Scholarship for International Student

Beijing Municipal Government has established the “Beijing Government Scholarship” for Beijing University of Chemical Technology to encourage and provide financial assistance for outstanding international students to pursue degree programs of higher education. This Scholarship is reward to students who are meticulous and highly motivated and are currently studying at the University level in China.

Please note: Students who have been granted the “Chinese Government Scholarship” is not eligible for considered of this scholarship.

The Details of the Beijing Government Scholarship are as follows:

二、Qualifications of Applicants

1.Applicants must be citizens of nations other than China and in good health condition.

2.Education and Age Requirements:

-Applicants for bachelor programs should hold a high school diploma and be not older than 25;

-Applicants for master programs should hold a bachelor degree and be not older than 35;

-Applicants for doctoral programs should hold a master degree and be not older than 40.

3.Applicants should provide excellent grade reports.

4. Applicants should show excellent ability in conducting study or research.

四、Application and Admission ProcessPeriod (February 1 - June 30 each year)

1.Register your account and activate in http://study.buct.edu.cn，fill out your Application online and upload the materials;

2.Document review;

3.Online interview;

4.Admission announcement(All accepted applicants will be informed via Email.);

5.Receive the admission Letter and JW202 form by DHL.

五、Admission Materials

• Undergraduate program

1) CV;

2) Original Transcript and Diploma of the highest Degree;

3) Passport size photos, passport copy;

4) Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

5) No Criminal Record Certificate;

6)Language Certificate (Chinese taught program H S K level 5 (including) above, English taught program IELTS 6.5 (including)above);

7) Originals orcopies of academic publication, patent, and other academic achievements (if any).

• Postgraduate program

1.Two letters of reference;

2.Study and research plan;

3.Original Transcript and Diploma of the highest Degree;

4.Passport size photos, passport copy;

5.Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

6.Acceptance letter from one supervisor;

7.No Criminal Record Certificate;

8.Language Certificate (Chinese taught program H S K level 5 (including) above, English taught program IELTS 6.5 (including) above);

9.Originals or copies of academic publication, patent, and other academic achievements (if any).

Note：

1.Applicants requires a preliminary acceptance letter from a BUCT professor and upload it online. Or else you will not be considered as candidate.

六、Other Financial Matters

1）Application fee: RMB 500 Yuan

2）Insurance Fee: RMB 800 Yuan per year

3）Accommodation:

RMB 60 / bed /day in the east campus

RMB 70 /room/day in the north campus
