Job Requirements:

1. Native speaker of English.

2. Bachelor’s degree or above in English language or related majors.

3. Must have English teaching experience to ESL students.

4. Excellent skills in classroom management and communication with students.

5. Degree in or certificates of TESOL or TEFL would be preferred.

6. Have the healthy physical condition to meet the requirements of the position.

7. Proficient in computer and office software.

Job Description:

1.Teaching students of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education programs in English reading, writing, speaking and listening.

2. Responsible for the compilation and revision of course syllabus, teaching plan and other related documents.

3. Participating in the teaching activities of the course team: including collective lesson preparation, teaching discussion, textbook selection, slides making, classroom teaching, homework correction, exam setting & marking and score keying-in, etc.

4. Participating in the BUCT instructor training, teaching discussion, teacher assessment and other work.

5. Preparing students for TOEFL or IELTS tests.

6. Designing, organizing or participating extra-curriculum English speaking activities.

7. Working in BUCT Changping Campus, School of International Education

Workload: 12-16 teaching hours a week (45 minutes for each teaching hour). 384-512 teaching hours annually.

Salary & Benefits:

u  Salary: 11,000-20,000 yuan/month; Salary of professor and associate professor is negotiable.

u  Benefits: BUCT will provide one-bedroom housing on campus or a monthly pre-tax housing allowance of 4,000 yuan.
