Signing Ceremony between Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), China and PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS(ANUGRAH), Indonesia
On the afternoon of April 25, 2024, a signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between Beijing University of Chemical Technology and PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS, Indonesia for academic-industry integration and training of international students was held at BUCT. Li Qifang, General Party branch secretaryof School of International Education, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Yan HONG, Deputy Dean of School of International Education, and Joseph HONG, President and director of Indonesia ANUGRAH New Energy Materials Co., LTD., attended the signing ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Yan Hong.
Li Qifang delivered a speech on behalf of the university, extending a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the attending guests. He introduced the university's development history, academic strengths, achievements in international exchanges and cooperation, the China-Indonesia academic-industry alliance, and the international student programs. In response to Indonesia's talent needs, he highlighted the university's strengths in talent development. He proposed leveraging the integration of academia and industry to train international students from Indonesia who are coming to China, thereby supporting the international talent development of enterprises and advancing academic-industry cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. He expressed hope for both parties to continue engaging in productive, mutually beneficial cooperation. He also anticipated that the enterprise could provide funding and support for recommended outstanding international students, thereby fostering the development of international student training programs in China.
Claudia Hong Sien LI from PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS introduced the company's development history and areas of business. She stated that the company is currently in urgent need of talent in fields such as resource recycling, energy conservation, environmental protection, testing, and chemical engineering. She expressed willingness for the company to serve as a partner of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and offer internship and employment opportunities to the international students trained by the BUCT.
Joseph HONG, President and Director of PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS, delivered a speech on behalf of the company. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the university's emphasis on training and collaborating with Indonesian talent. At PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS, we not only prioritize technological innovation and business expansion but also place great importance on fulfilling social responsibilities. Through our partnership with BUCT we are committed to providing internship and employment opportunities for outstanding Indonesian students studying in China. During the meeting, in the presence of both parties, Yan Hong, deputy Dean of the School of International Education, and Edy SANTI, Vice President of Indonesia ANUGRAH, jointly signed the cooperation agreement for academic-industry integration and international student training between Beijing University of Chemical Technology and PT. ANUGRAH NEO ENERGY MATERIALS, Indonesia.
The signing of this agreement marks an important milestone in the collaboration between BUCT and the Indonesian company. This not only lays a solid foundation for our partnership but also opens up broad prospects for in-depth exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields such as talent development, technological innovation, and technology transfer in the future. Together, we will explore the innovation and application of emerging technologies, advancing cooperation between both parties in areas such as sustainable development, ecological conservation, and cultural exchanges under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Zhao Jianya, Director of the International Student Office at the School of International Education, and other relevant staff members from the office attended the signing ceremony.
