Beijing, September 28, 2024 – The international students of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) participated with distinction in the 4th Marathon Relay Race among Capital Universities, organized by the Beijing University Sports Association. This event united student athletes from various Beijing's universities to foster sportsmanship and facilitate cultural exchange.
Our international students, representing a tapestry of cultures, demonstrated exceptional teamwork and endurance over the 42.195 kilometers. Their outstanding performance was a celebration of their athletic abilities, unity, and the school's commitment to holistic education.
Zain, the first runner, shared, "The support from Teacher Jocelyn and my teammates transformed the pressure into motivation. The baton handover was a moment of unity and pride."
Hussain, the team leader, added, "The marathon was more than a race; it was a journey of collective effort and cultural bonding."
