To provide diverse cultural experiences and promote Sino-foreign exchanges, the School of International Education at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) organized a visit to the Summer Palace on October 18, 2024. The event attracted 45 international students from various countries, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore Chinese culture.
As one of China’s most famous historical gardens, the Summer Palace is renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich history. Led by a tour guide, the students visited iconic sites such as Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake and took memorable photos with the surrounding scenery as the background.
At the end of the outing, students gathered for a sharing session, exchanging their thoughts and experiences. Many of them expressed gratitude for the chance to explore such a beautiful site and connect with their peers.
The Summer Palace outing was a resounding success, leaving students with lasting memories and the students developed a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture.
