1.Programme description
This Program aims at scientific research and talent cultivation, emphasizing both fundamental theoretical education in Computer Science and technology and cross-penetration with related disciplines, while also fostering innovation. The Program has developed distinctive scientific research areas in big data science and intelligent decision, software evolution and testing, biological information engineering, intelligent image information processing, artificial intelligence, etc. The faculty team has 30 supervisors, including 7 professors, 16 associate professors, and 7 lecturers, with 29 holding Ph.D degrees. The Computer Science ranks among the Top 1％ globally in ESI subject rankings.

Building upon the university's foundational strengths in comprehensive education and practice-oriented training, the Program emphasizes an integrated talent development model focusing on the coordinated development of knowledge, ability and quality. Leveraging the disciplinary advantages and targeting national informatization needs, the Program combines the university's industrial advantages with engineering problem-solving approaches to conduct engineering practice and applied research on key technologies, and enhance the disciplinary social service capacity. It also focuses on expanding international collaboration and exchange and cultivating high-level talents who demonstrate balanced excellence in both fundamental research and technological innovation in computer science and technology.
