Ⅰ.Overview
1.Programme description
This Program is built upon the discipline of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, which is designated as one of the key disciplines supported by both the "211 Project" and the "Innovative Platform for Competitive Disciplines" initiatives. The discipline was granted the first-class doctoral program in 2010. Its sub-discipline Process Mechanical Engineering was designated as a national key discipline in 2007. The faculty currently includes one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 30 professors and 28 doctoral supervisors.
This discipline has achieved internationally advanced standing in fault diagnosis and self-healing engineering for power and process equipment, with distinctive features and significant global impact in the research on performance enhancement and structural integrity of process equipment, fluid sealing technologies for critical petroleum and chemical equipment under extreme conditions, formation theory and equipment for polymer materials, intensification and optimization of heat and mass transfer processes, etc.
